Benjamin Sampayan III

Benjamin Sampayan serves as the Director of Bands at Perry High School, leading the Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band I & II, Percussion Ensemble, Puma Regiment, and Winter Season Ensembles. He joined the music faculty at Perry in 2014 as the Associate Director of Bands after completing his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude. Playing the trumpet, Benjamin has performed with the Salt River Brass, Sonic Brass, the Arizona State Sun Devil Marching Band, the Chandler Gilbert Community Band, various churches throughout the valley, and local musical theatre productions.

Benjamin believes that education is a cornerstone for our future and strives to foster an environment where people can cultivate their talents in service to others. Through their time spent with the program it is his hope to inspire great people to achieve extraordinary things through performance.
