SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS FOR INCOMING FALL 2025:

Summer Reading Assignment 2025-2026
AP Lang and Compostion Summer Reading 2025-2026 (PDF)

Students enrolled in AP Language and Composition for the upcoming school year will be required to complete a summer reading assignment. The selected text is Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell. Students will need to obtain their own copy of the book, which is widely available at retailers such as Barnes & Noble or Amazon.

The summer reading assignment is designed to introduce students to key concepts in rhetorical analysis and prepare them for the rigor of the AP course. A detailed description of the assignment is attached to this newsletter.
