Testing at PHS
High school testing in the Chandler Unified School District (CUSD80) includes state-mandated academic assessments, college readiness exams, and district finals. Key assessments include ACT Aspire, AzSCI, and the ACT.
State and Graduation Tests
- AASA & AzSCI: Statewide math, English, and science assessments required during the spring semester.
- Civics Assessment: Mandatory test based on U.S. immigration questions; students must score 70 or higher to graduate.
College and Career Exams
- ASVAB: The ASVAB helps you discover your strengths, explore career paths, and plan out your future.
- PSAT/NMSQT: Taken in October of junior year (11th grade) to practice and qualify for scholarships.
- ACT / SAT: Standardized tests given in the spring for college admissions and scholarship applications.
- AP Exams: Advanced Placement subject tests administered in May for college credit.
