Soccer Locker Class
Our main focus in Soccer Locker class is to provide our students with an environment that helps them grow as students, athletes and as a person. We will work on the physical, mental and social side of participating in this program, which will help everyone feel valued and supported to continue to strive forward. We pride ourselves on what we have created through the years and always want to continue our successes in the classroom, on the field and in the community.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - Class is during Third Period
Mondays- Girls will be off from lifting, we will use Mondays for technical training and futsal inside the small gym. Also, Mondays could be used as days for agility/speed training, recovery days from weekend or building relationships through team building games. This will start to adapt as we get closer and into the high school soccer season.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays- These will be our main lifting days. Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be higher intensity and lower body lifting. Fridays will always focus on upper body to ensure our legs are rested going into the weekends. There will be adjustments to this depending on lighter weekends or off weekends, and as we get into our high school season. These days can also be used to focus on anaerobic, agility or stamina exercises.
