College and Career Center

While college isn't right for everyone, higher education is linked to many positive benefits. Take time to think about your interests and strengths.  Explore your options:

     1. Consider the possibilities - What to do after High School

     2. Learn about yourself and determine next steps

      3. Explore career fields and industries

      4. Get help at your Perry High College & Career Center in F219 - Schedule appointment with Ms. Kim

      5. Consider hiring an outside consultant - you can do a general search online or get a free 25 minutes consultation with Coach Steve

    • My Next Move - sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor

    • ASU Me 3 - anybody can use this tool for career and major exploration, not just for ASU students

    • MCC Career Coach - plan your future with this Maricopa Community College Career Coach, available to all students

    • Take the ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP) at Perry! - The ASVAB is an aptitude test that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success. The free ASVAB at Perry took place on January 15th, 2025.  Perry will likely hold the next ASVAB in fall of 2025 or spring of 2026.
    • Set up a Linkedin profile and start connecting with people in your area(s) of interest!

    • Conduct Career Exploration Interviews - Schedule meetings to learn about the real-life experience of someone working in a field or company that interests you. Remember - this is not a  job interview, so it's important to keep focused on getting information, not a job offer.
